While in Malibu waiting for their big day, Clint and Charlene were emergency evacuated at 2 am back to their hometown of Toronto. Disappointed that their day was ruined, they were grateful to be out of harms way. Safe to say, they were thrilled to finally celebrate their nuptials less than a year after the devastating Woolsey Fire.
The ceremony was truly breathtaking. With the iconic Malibu mountain views as a backdrop, the couple opted for blooms in shades of lavender, ivory, persimmon with lush greenery low to the ground to allow the scenery to shine. While guests were seated on black Chiavari chairs with florals lining the aisle, our couple exchange vows…finallly!
With such a naturally beautiful landscape, the couple kept decor minimal for the reception. Hailing from Toronto, guests found their seats on baggage tags on stacks of vintage luggage. Tables were draped in tan linen, while guests were seated in black Chiavari chairs. Verdant greenery wrapped around the wooden pergola above adding a garden feel to the space. Beautiful blooms of burgundy, golden yellow, and orange served as bright centerpieces.
Guests dined on gold-rimmed chargers topped with wooden plates and golden flatware with periwinkle blue handles. To bring the setting together gold-rimmed glassware. For something sweet, a beautiful three-tiered cake with a baby blue base which faded into white for the top two layers that featured gold flecks!
Special thank you to Love & You Studios for beautifully capturing the day!
